Marcel wist meteen hoe hij onze droom kon waarmaken. Onze wensen? Een landhuis met veel grond in het èchte Andalucía, Al bij de tweede bezichtiging was het raak.: een prachtig gerenoveerde cortijo temidden van olijfboomgaarden. Stilte, rust, elke dag zon en een sterrenhemel zonder lichtvervuiling. Steenbokken die vijgen snoepen in de tuin. Geen verkeer, geen files.
Dankzij Marcel liep de aankoopprocedure zo vlot als maar kan in Spanje. Ook erna staat hij ons bij met tips en locale contacten. Marcel kwam zelfs speciaal naar het vliegveld in Malaga om ons de sleutels te overhand igen. Súpervriendelijk en geduldig, en hij luistert heel goed naar al je wensen.

Since early October we are the proud owners of a fully restored 100 year old Cortijo in Ventorros de Balerma, close to Iznajar.
We have been looking for the right holiday property in the Iznajar area since 2019 and friends of ours suggested that we should get in touch with Sunset country properties.
Marcel was very helpful throughout. During the covid pandemic travelling from the U.K. to Spain was near impossible but with the help of live videos we were able to get good impressions of the properties that we were interested in. Marcel kept us in the loop of any new properties coming to the market either by email or a phone call.
Finally in May this year we found the house that ticked all the boxes . Throughout the sales process Marcel was at hand to assist us with the many questions we had and he helped us also with opening a bank account.
