There is a 34000 ltr water deposit, which is filled through rain collection. We have always collected enough water for the house, but we run a vegetable garden, so use lots. We collect our extra water for free in the nearest village, or a farmer can deliver for a small fee. The house is heated by a wood burner. Hot water is supplied by a very simple solar water heater, there is also a gas hot water boiler. Also included are 2 fridges, electric for summer and a gas one for winter.
