The property offers a unique secluded location combined with ease of access to main roads and towns. Located on the borders of the National Park, the house is surrounded by olive groves and is backed by mountains rising over 1,500 metres.
Originally the Cortijo was a working farm dating back at least 100 years. Today the Cortijo is a cherished holiday home for the owner and a successful holiday retreat for lucky paying guests.
The entire property has been extended and sympathetically modernized to retain its rustic charm. New roofs, windows and doors compliment the existing rustic doors, beamed ceilings and original tiled floors. During the renovation the property was rewired and re-plumbed and more recently the owners have installed an upgrade to the septic tank.
Outside a large patio area faces onto a 15M x 6M swimming pool (saline). There is extensive terracing between the pool and house which includes a covered alfresco lounging and dining area (with outside kitchen). The gardens have been landscaped to include a rose garden and a variety of shrubs. The property is fully fenced with wrought iron entrance gates and hard surface driveway.
